HANDRAILING SYSTEMS FOR MEZZANINE FLOORS

Available with a range of different handrail and upright sections, welded double tubular handrail is prefabricated at the works as part of the stringer or in sections for bolting to landings or the  perimeter of mezzanine floors. 

Comprising box section painted uprights supporting a pair of horizontal galvanised tubular rails, one at knee and one at hand height, the handrail posts are bolted through the decking into the steelwork or spreader plate of mezzanine floors.

Traditional ball and tube handrail posts are less common now, but we can provide them if desired . Useful for external fire escapes where they would be galvanised, they can also be painted for indoor use on mezzanine floors.

For mezzanine floors in public areas and at educational establishments where visibility is desirable but open industrial handrail systems are inappropriate. A welded handrail with vertical bars at less than 100mm centres.

Welded handrail sections with childsafe flat steel infill panels, suitable for mezzanine floors in public access areas, which can be lasercut with perforations or corporate logos and finished with polyester powder coating for impact. 

Clean lines and clarity are offered by stainless steel post and rail handrail which can be infilled with stainless steel wire or toughened glass infill panels, depending on the environment. Fully glazed balustrade is also an option for mezzanine floors.
